Massachusetts, late 17th century, oak throughout, hinged lid with interior till, single side hung long drawer with false triple front, double paneled sides, skirt with relief carved and ebonized drop panels with initials "ET" and "1697", 29-3/4 x 49-1/2 x 20-1/2 in.

Condition

appears to have good integrity overall, original lid lacking hinge pins, till lid replaced, extensive pest damage at one rear stile, numerous applied moldings and bosses restored, other cracks, wear, and distress consistent with age
