Rappahannock River Basin, 1740-1770, molded top over two dovetailed drawers, engraved brasses, scalloped front and side skirts, attenuated cabriole legs, raised slipper feet, rear board with incised "IV" numeral, dovetailed construction with yellow pine secondary wood, 28 x 30-1/4 x 20-1/4 in.

excellent condition overall, brasses appear to be early replacements, one drawer back with old tin patch correcting mouse chew, lacking one front knee return, minor loss at top of one drawer lip, original top with typical stains, wear and abrasions
