Chinese, 18th century, mirror image figures of one another, glazed porcelain, each figure sitting upon a rock and resting one foot upon a three legged toad, most likely represents the Immortal, Liu Haichan, 6-3/8 in. and 6-1/2 in.
Notes: In 1752, the Dutch ship Geldermalsen, sank in the South China Sea, having been laden with Chinese export porcelain.  This shipwrecked hoard was discovered in the early 1980s, and was famously auctioned by Christie's in Amsterdam as the Nanking Cargo.   Â
