Attributed Stoneware
(DeKalb Co., Alabama, 1860-1942), double dipped churn with tannish green glaze to lower 3/4 of body, dark brown glaze to upper 1/4, alternating incised line decoration around shoulder between applied strap and lug handle, flared rim, 14 in.; pitcher with dark olive green glaze over short wide angled form, alternating line decoration to body, wavy line decoration at rim, applied strap handle from body to neck, thick spout, 7-1/2 in.. Condition: glaze voids and anomalies as made, surface abrasions, base edge wear, pitcher with wear and chips to entire rim, extensive glaze wear, churn with several restorations to rim.
