light olive green alkaline glazed churn, applied strap and lug handle at shoulder, line decoration below thick collared rim, 16-1/4 in., [iron blowouts throughout, losses to lug handle, wear and chips to rim, 7 in. hairline from rim to body, 1 in. hairline in rim, 5 in. hairline from rim past lug handle to body, wear at base edge]; light green alkaline glazed pitcher, incised line and wavy line decoration around shoulder, applied ridged strap handle, flared rim and pinched spout, stamped “HP” at neck, attributed to Hawkins Patrick Peaden, Blount County, Alabama, circa 1880’s, 10-1/2 in., [base edge chip as made]; light brownish yellow alkaline glazed storage jar, incised ring decoration at belly and shoulder, two applied strap handles from shoulder to base of neck, flared rim, attributed to Jeremiah Franklin Morton, Perry County, Alabama circa 1860’s., 9-1/2 in., [base edge chip as made].
