old repair at top edge of one drawer facing (strip patch or early repair), moldings for top likely old replacements (top possibly once had overhang or was later trimmed and set with moldings), brasses replaced (no apparent plugged holes, not removed for exam), possibly once fitted with a backsplash (several holes at back edge of top), top with scattered abrasions, wear, possible burns, and other distress, drawer interiors with old brown paint, drawers with some later interior bracing (scattered nail scars from previous braces now removed), some joints slightly loose (minor gaps around drawer facings), cracks, minor repairs, and some later nailing to drawers secondary,ÿhazy surface with distress (possible traces of white paint), minor bumps and losses at skirt molding, other typical flaws consistent with age and use
