Albany slip glaze jug, inscribed, "Little Brown Rye Jug, 1884, Gerson & Seligman, Montgomery, Alabama", 4-1/2 in.; Albany slip glazed jug, inscribed :"Selma Alabama Waterfront Market Day", stamped on base "N.E. Miller, Hand Made Pottery, Sprott Alabama", 5 in.; Albany slip glazed inkwell, inscribed "Selma Ala 1905", inscribed on base "Daphne Pottry", 2 x 4 in.; miniature stoneware jug stamped " COMPLIMENTS OF J.C. MAYFIELD MFG. COMPANY, BIRMINGHAM ALABAMA", 3-1/2 in,; half glazed colonoware style jug, flared and pinched spout, central ring handle, stamped "DAPHNE M.F.G. CO. DAPHNE, ALA." 5-1/4 in.; unglazed jug stamped "SOUVENIR, DAVID TIRE CO., B'HAM, ALA., NAITD 1855", 5 in.

Note: The J.C. Mayfield Co. manufactured celery cola and another version of cola in the late 1880s.
Condition
glaze voids and anomalies as made, surface abrasions, minor glaze frits, brown jug with handle chip and base edge chip, colonoware jug with tiny spout chip, other pieces with base edge wear, three jugs with restorations, Mayfield jug with restoration to top section, Little Brown jug with restorations at rim and base, and Daphne Mfg jug with restorations to top handle
Available payment options
Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
