Stretcher Side Chair
probably Boston, Massachusetts, mid-18th century, with arched crest and solid splat, over-the-rail upholstered balloon seat, maple seat frame, cabriole legs with flat stretchers and pad feet, historic dark brown surface, 40 in.. Condition: excellent condition overall, break and repair to one pad foot (original material), two side knee returns likely replaced, other typical minor surface wear and abrasions, minor repairs and color retouch to shoe, modern upholstery with light stains (not fully examined under upholstery).
