bucolic scene with two part center registry of female figure under a bird topped arbor beside deer and farm house, over birds and cow grazing on grassy hill, inscribed "Eliza Whitman her work ended in the 10th year of her age 1796", all within an elaborate floral border, silk on gauge ground, sight 21 x 19 in.; birds eye maple frame with gilt cove molding, 26-1/4 x 24 in.
