New York, 19th century, probably Belter, elaborate pierced rose and acorn back with tufted upholstery, leaf-carved legs, scrolled feet, 46 x 27 x 32 in., probably original finish with some varnish bloom, break and repair at one rear leg, scattered surface wear and abrasions, upholstery with wear and tears, very minor losses at carving.
