Walnut Parlor Suite
attributed to John Jelliff, circa 1870, comprising a settee, two armchairs and three side chairs, armchairs and settee with figural-carved grips, settee 48 x 75 x 34 in., armchairs 42 x 28 x 30 in., side chairs 39-1/2 x 20-3/4 x 22-1/2 in., generally good condition, some distress to upholstery, one side chair with minor separation at arm joint, one armchair and settee with probably original finish (finish and upholstery variation), breaks and repairs to rear legs of settee (two with later metal braces), some other minor separations and looseness at joints.
