possibly late Ming/early Qing dynasty, with a branch form handle and spout beneath a floriform aperture, splayed ring foot, both sides decorated with ripe fruits, flowers, and leaves, 6-7/8 in.  - Provenance: Collected in Shanghai, China prior to 1902 by Frederick and Margaret Haskell; By descent in family to Frances Arnold; Private Collection, Newnan, Georgia - Note: Objects from this personal collection were acquired in Shanghai, China between the years 1862-1902. They were collected by Frederick and Margaret Haskell. Mr. Haskell was the owner of the Japan and China Trading Company. The couple retired to Lake Weir Florida in 1902, bringing these collected objects with them to the United States and they descended through the family to current day. small flecked chip to interior aperture with hairline crack extending down approximately 1/2 in., some wear and chips to tip of spout, scattered glaze voids/pin holes and other minor firing flaws, rough foot with kiln debris, light scratches and surface wear consistent with age and use
