Cameroonian/Nigerian, Western Grassfields area, possibly Babanki culture, early to mid 20th century, circular seat inlaid with numerous African coins, openwork spider form supports on ring base, 16-1/2 x 15 in.
some cracks and large chip to seat edge, one coin missing, surface dirt layer and accretion, scattered surface scratches, bumps, cracks, and small chips throughout, wear consistent with age and use
