Hare Finial and Glazed Insert
Staffordshire, mid 19th century, dry finish oval molded outer dish with clusters of hanging dead game birds on outside joined by swags of grapevines, cover with dead birds and game in low relief and hare finial, glazed interior, overall glazed insert dish with white lining, impressed "WEDGWOOD" on base of outer dish, 6 x 10 in.
numerous chips on rim of insert dish, crooked crack from rim into low-relief ornament on side of outer dish with slight loss of material along crack, several chips on edge of cover
