(William Thomas Belah Gordy, Greenville, Georgia, 1877-1955), matte brown glaze, applied facial features including inset clay eyes with black pupils, large pronounced nose from spout to middle of jug, tiny “s” shaped ears, open mouth with broken China teeth, protruding chin, applied strap handle from shoulder to spout, 7 in.. Condition: glaze voids and anomalies as made, losses to both ears, abrasions to glaze and features throughout, loss to chin, lacking two teeth.
