British, 1760-1770, of tall, narrow proportions, finely crafted, removable upper section with two shelves and openwork Gothic style fretwork supports, lower case with fallboard with false double front opening to a fitted interior with five drawers, over four additional long drawers, finely dovetailed, with mahogany linings throughout, original gilt brass hardware, paneled back, bracket feet, paneled back, 65-1/2 x 25-1/2 x 12-1/2 in. - Provenance: Estate of Robert K. very good overall, scattered cracks and repairs to fretwork with some minor face patches at back corners, minor losses to drawer beading, original feet and blocking with some scattered breaks and repairs to facings, each case side with two small plugged holes near back edge
