Walnut Chest on Frame
Piedmont Viginia, probably Loudoun County, 1750-1770, dovetailed drawers with walnut secondary, second long drawer set with yellow pine drawer dividers, upper case with original brass carrying handles, 52-1/8 x 42 x 24-1/4 in.. Condition: old refinishing, patches to one rear foot, brasses replaced by Ned Hipp (matching original ghost marks), frieze drawer lacking original dividers, scattered minor patches and later nails.
