American, one marking sampler signed "Jerusha Vose aged 9 years. Sudbury 1834", silk on linen, 7-1/2 x 16-1/2 (sight), later wood frame; one alphabet with lower urn and flower panel, dated "1825", 11 x 8 in., wood frame. Condition: both with fading, browning of linen and some losses.
