Baker", guard with eagle and stars, [blade repolished and plated, guard appears to be regilt, blade corrosion], 31-1/4 in. blade, 37-1/4 in. overall with metal scabbard, [minor wear;] one marked "E. A. Armstrong Detroit, MI", blade with etched eagle, flags, shield, "U.S." and scrolls, folding counter guard with stand of arms, 29-1/2 in. blade, 36 in. overall, [blade refinished, corrosion to lower half of blade;] metal scabbard inscribed "Presented to Capt Frank C Baker by Members of Co B 15 Regt NGP July 21st 1890", [dents;] with bible box, age undetermined, 3-3/4 x 13-3/4 x 9-7/8 in., [good condition;] containing Baker family photos and ephemera .
