The first by Albert Jean Adolphe (1865-1940), Portrait of a Man, signed and inscribed lower left recto "Albert J. Adolphe, Paris," also signed verso on an oil sketch of picnickers, oil on panel, 7-1/2 x 4-3/8 in.; modern frame, 10 x "6-7/8 x 7/8 in.; together with Man with a Mustache, 1910, inscribed in pencil verso Gladys J Dunlap 1910", bears remnants of of old exhibition label verso, oil on canvas, 12-7/8 x 8-5/8 in.; possibly original wood frame, 17-7/8 x 13-5/8 x 1-1/2 in.
