Ottoman, probably mid-16th century, polychrome radial verse markers, [sura] headings in red (rare) and blue design, white inscriptions on gold ground, text 7-1/2 x 4-1/2 in., folio 10-1/2 x 7-1/2 in.; in double-sided frames, not removed from frames, both with water stains, some possible mildew, other surface distress (see detailed photos).
