possibly Ming dynasty, celadon with undulating vine pattern on interior, 2-7/8 x 12-1/2 in.; Kraak ware with paneled design of florals, illegible character mark to base, 2-1/8 x 14-1/8 in.

Note: William Joseph Roache and his family moved from Australia to Hong Kong in the early 1960s. He was employed as an Agronomist, and his job took him out into the Chinese countryside. In these travels, he purchased Chinese art, typically porcelains, from locals and shops. Mr. Roache then moved to Singapore in the late 1960s and continued his passion for collecting. After moving to the United States, he and his family retired to a horse farm in Rutherfordton, North Carolina where he lived surrounded by his beloved objects.
