Colt revolver with two piece stag handle, serial numbers 211755 on frame, trigger guard, and backstrap, .38 W.C.F. caliber, 4-3/4 in. barrel, circa 1902, nickel finish, faint "COLT'S.....A. MFG....HART....CT. U.S." double stack stamp on top of barrel, "PAT. SEPT. 19. 1871. JULY 2. 72. JAN. 19. 75." double stack stamp next to engraved horse on left side of frame, "9" stamp on gate, blade front sight; Colt revolver with walnut handle, serial numbers 84993 on trigger guard and butt plate, 112955 under frame, 2955 on cylinder, possibly .38 W.C.F. caliber, 4-3/4 in. barrel, serial numbers date to 1880s for Colt, three tiered stamp on left side of frame "PAT. SEPT.19. 1871., JULY 2. 72, JAN. 9. 75.", nickel finish, blade front sight, no marks for Colt on barrel or frame, both come in green felt lined fitted case

Both revolvers have been re-nickled, Colt revolver with stag handle has light handling wear, surface abrasions to finish, some oxidation, rifled barrel with frosting, altered front blade sight rotation wear on cylinder, no serial number on cylinder, chambers appear to be in good condition, all mechanisms and action appear to be in working order; Colt revolver with wood handle has Colt markings buffed off prior to re-nickling, handling wear, surface abrasions, rifled barrel with frosting and oxidation, chip to left side of grip and scratches, possibly altered front sight, rotation wear on cylinder, chamber appear to be in good condition mechanisms and action appear to be in working order, no markers marks for Colt on barrel or frame
Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
