all with scattered surface scratches, some bumps and small chips to edges; smaller lap desk with lock mechanism broken, occasionally prevents lid from closing completely; larger lap desk missing tabs to pull up writing panels, crack and separation through body of underside; document box with some losses to lower exterior panels, crack through top, some lifting and looseness to interior linings
