British, circa 1820-1825, finely modeled urn or ewer after the "antique", heavy gilding, two applied figural putti, one gripping the goose neck handle, satyr masks on lower body, elaborate feathered scrolls surrounding each element, two sides with rectangular panel with exuberant floral arrangements including passion flowers, tulips and roses, mounted to square ceramic 2 in. plinth, vase only 24-5/8 x 16-1/2 in. - Provenance: Private Collection
