including a 1735 hand-written land grant on vellum signed by Governor William Gooch (Virginia, 1681-1751), 14-1/4 x 13-1/2 in., small amount of loss at the folds, slightly darkened otherwise very good; a partially-printed land grant dated 1772 signed by Governor John Murray, Lord Dunmore (Virginia, 1730-1809), 14-1/2 x 12-1/2 in., closed tear in the vellum, very slight edgewear otherwise very good; framed together with labels, frame: 23 x 34-1/2 in.
