Perry County, circa late 1800s early 1900s, all with salt glazes, churn, tapered form, inscribed "Fred Vann, Made By Sanders Ham" on shoulder, incised neck, collared rim, lid ledge, 13-1/4 in.; jar, rounded shoulder, stamped "S.HAM, LEVERT, AL.", incised neck, flared rim, lid shelf, 10 in.; beehive form jug, "HAM BROS" stamped on shoulder, short straight spout, applied strap handle, 8-1/4 in.

glaze voids and anomalies as made, minor surface abrasions and wear, illumination of residue to exteriors under blacklight, staining, large churn with 7 in. hairline down from neck to body, small chip to handle, wear to upper and lower rim edge and lid ledge, jug with restoration to entire handle, 1 in. clay body anomaly at shoulder, rim wear, jar with kiln debris, 3, 2, and 1 in. spider hairline on back, similar small spider hairline near stamp, 1/2 in. clay body chip at base edge

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
