Lockwood, 1870-71, eight volumes, 7th octavo edition, with 500 well-printed and finely hand-colored plates (complete), this edition includes 24 species not pictured in the first edition, finely bound in full contemporary brown morocco, elaborately blind-stamped and decorated with five raised bands, gilt spine lettering, gilt inner dentelles, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt, ribbon markers in each volume, 10-3/4 x 7-1/2 in. near fine in full leather with minute amounts of rubbing to the leather.
