Hitchcock or Ralph Trembly after John James or John Woodhouse Audubon, printed by J.T. Bowen (131) of Philadelphia or Nagel and Weingaertner (24), though J.J. Audubon dies in 1851, publication of the work was finished in 1854 by his son John Woodhouse Audubon, 10-1/2 x 7-1/2 in. half-inch chip from the head of the spine, some wrinkling to the spine on Volume II, some rubbing at the extremities, a very good, attractive set.
