Piedmont, Georgia or South Carolina, 1800-1820, walnut with mellow brown color, drawer facings with looping line inlay and kite escutcheons, original brass drawer pulls and locks, dovetailed construction with yellow pine secondary throughout, 44-1/2 x 38-1/2 x 21 in. - Provenance: Private Collection Asheville, North Carolina
excellent condition overall, later butterfly patches to interior of one case side, original feet with replaced rear brackets, very minor patches and distress at toes, typical cracks to skirt veneer, very small patch at back of one case side, later drawer supports, other typical minor flaws
