Tennessee or Kentucky, early 19th century, hinged lid with divided interior, line-inlaid case, frame with dovetailed drawer with poplar secondary on turned and reeded legs, 36 x 28-3/4 x 19-1/2 in.. Provenance: A Park Avenue, New York Collection
finish wear and stains, sun fading, shrinkage and minor warping to top, probably original lock and divider, possible restorations at drawer sides (some distress at dovetails), probably original pulls, one rear leg cut at upper turning and reattached (appears to be original material)
