related to the Henry Macy shop of Southern Guilford County, early 19th century, pitched pediment with applied central rosette over two glazed doors with shelved interior flanked by fluted quarter columns, 42 x 42-1/4 x 11 in.
formerly the top of a desk and bookcase, bottom 2 in. of quarter columns replaced, refinished, lacking door pull, minor losses at molding and some sun fading at right side
