attributed to Thomas Chandler, South Carolina, mid-19th century, pale celadon alkaline glaze decorated with white slip scalloped drape on each side and a curled line under each strap handle, incised "6", 16 in.. Condition: good condition with some stains around lower half, several anomalies as made, including a deeply incised slash across one side, cracks around handles are under the glaze, two small darkened kiln kisses, and a few burn-out spots.
