New England, circa 1890, sturdily built shingled house with covered front entry, upper and lower porches to rear side, windows with fabric drapes behind, spandrels and porch walls with fine cutwork, three articulated chimneys, green paint with black and iron red painted accents, house 24-1/2 x 28 x 20-1/2 in. including front entry, picket fence on four sides of 36 x 35 in. base. Condition: very good condition with minor paint nicks. Notes: By tradition, this is not a doll house, but rather was commissioned s an architect's model by a wealthy patron in New Hampshire.
