British, late 18th century, surmounted by spired brass ball finials, arched pediment, fluted Doric columns, enameled dial with brass foliate spandrels and maker inscription, brass eight-day movement, paneled case, bracket feet, includes three weights, key, winder and bell, reverse with "Wetherfield Collection of Clocks, Arthur S. Vernay" inventory label, 83 x 18 x 9 in.
Condition
spired finials are likely replaced, includes additional old brass ball finial that is possibly original, top with some old wood cracks and repairs, small loss along case molding, weights with wear and indentations, scattered shrinkages and other typical wear from age and use
