Collins Was Born Oct. 13th 1832", initials "A.F.H." lower left corner, floral vine border, silk on linen, 16 x 18-1/2 in. Most needleworks from this group feature small dogs along with large houses and scattered birds.Frances (Fannie) Ann Collins was born in Franklin County, Tennessee in 1832 and married William Joseph Miller in 1851. Their one child Eliza was born in 1852 but Fannie must have died sometime before 1855 as her husband remarried that year.
