(Lawley, Alabama, 1904-1990), metallic brown glaze with black runs, applied facial features, including mouth with thick goatee, incised garment decoration, incised hair decoration to back of head, line collar decoration, applied strap handle from shoulder to near base edge, flat rim, 7-3/4 in.. Condition: glaze voids and anomalies as made, two minor chips to glaze in rim, minor chips to glaze at base edge.
