Beans Creek, Franklin, from "Little Dog" sampler group, five bands of the alphabet over a four line verse, several birds, small dogs, flower pot, house and butterfly bottom panel, signed "F.A. Collins Was Born Oct. 13th 1832", initials "A.F.H." lower left corner, floral vine border, silk on linen, 16 x 18-1/2 in. (sight); later wood frame. Condition: fading, losses to blue thread stitches in middle, light scattered stains. Notes: Documented and exhibited by Tennessee Sample Survey #TSS 218, the James K. Polk Ancestral Home, Columbia, Tennessee, December 17, 2010 - April 10,2011..
