Maryland or Virginia, 18th century, with a single double paneled door with iron hinges opening to a painted shelved interior, case sides, faceted feet, arched backboards, yellow pine and oak with traces of early red paint, 54 x 40 x 22 in. in good as found condition, some later bracing to interior lower case sides, scattered patches and wear from previous door catches, scar from one additional butt hinge (now removed), small vertical patch at one rear leg, one rear foot with small loss from pest damage at underside, other scattered old nail scars and distress to upper legs, some areas of paint retouch or enhancement
