arched brass dial signed "Richardson Miner New Haven", brass dial with seconds sweep and date aperture, brass movement, waisted cherry case with pagoda form top, underside of pagoda with pencil signature "John A. Dulkin?", waist with arched door, on molded box form base, period pendulum and two weights, old dry varnished surface, 92 in. - Provenance: Private Florida Collection

Condition

finials replaced, finial plinths reset, some dents, bending, and distress to dial, possible restorations to brass movement, works and dial probably a good match (later shims applied to case uprights), minor repair to glazed door frame, other typical shrinkage cracks, hinges replaced, some possible restorations at base molding (back of lower case slightly reduced to accommodate architectural kick molding, so it would go flush to the wall)
