Connecticut or Massachusetts, circa 1780, exceptional rare diminutive tea or work table form retaining it's original surface, single drawer, notched corners, square-molded legs, x-stretcher, white pine secondary wood, 25-7/8 x 23 x 16 in.

retains a fine original surface with wear overall, pull a possibly an old replacement, some areas of retouch and or refreshing to leg and drawer facing, client files include an August 1991 conservation report by James R. Beachley, Creagerstown, Md., in which joints were disassembled, mortise holes and tenons cleaned and reset, drawer bottom reattached where loose, refill above screw holes with cherry, one leg facing retouched, flat lacquer applied over surface to prevent further loss and waxed
