Open-Arm Chair
possibly Charleston, South Carolina, late 18th century, pierced splat and scrolled arms, period poplar slip seat, molded square legs with stretchers, 38-3/4 in.. Condition: patches and repairs at joints of arms to rear stiles and to arm supports (with some later color), minor repairs to splat with one small later brace at back, seat frame appears to have supports for potty seat now removed, minor crack and repair to shoe.
