American, early 20th century, ruffled rim and lower knop, opalescent white with green pulled leaf decoration, gold zipper decoration to foot, gold iridescent stretch interior, signed "Quezal" and "N 441", 6-1/2 x 5-1/2 in. - Provenance: Minna Rosenblatt Antiques, Brooklyn, New York, purchased March 1973 for $875 (accompanied by copy of receipt); Estate of Jay R. Doros, Springfield, New Jersey - Note: This vase was included in the exhibition "Flights of Fancy: The Quezal Art Glass and Decorating Company" at the Museum of American Glass at Wheaton Village, Millville, New Jersey, April 13 through October 20, 1996, curated by Gay LeCleire Taylor.
