probably Irish, early 18th century, dense figured mahogany throughout, the desk with fitted interior with eight drawers over a single long drawer, conforming frame with scalloped skirt, carved knees and pad feet, 41 x 31-1/4 x 19-1/4 in.. Condition: very good condition overall, one interior drawer replaced, patches and repairs at three feet, scattered veneer cracks and minor repairs, other typical surface flaws.
