probably British, 18th century, mahogany and other mixed woods, dense single-board figured mahogany top, birdcage support on a baluster-turned tripod base, 43-1/4 in. tilted, 29-1/2 in. diameter. Condition: good condition, minor flaws at knees, possible patch and repair at top of birdcage, break and one screw repair at one ankle, two legs made of a different wood but appear to be period.
