Philadelphia area, 1760-1780, shell-carved serpentine crest rail, shell-carved knees and ball-and-claw feet, 38-3/4 in.. Condition: good condition overall, refinished with some traces of early surface, slip seat replaced, some roughness at rear side of one front leg, one rear mortise slightly loose.
