New England, 18th century, fallboard opening to a fitted interior with four blocked drawers and four valance drawers, removable prospect section with two hidden document drawers over four long drawers and straight bracket feet, pine and other secondary woods (butternut?), 42 x 39 x 21-1/2 in.. Condition: brasses replaced, refinished, lacking one hidden document drawer, brasses with polish residue, feet generally good with some replaced blocking, scattered wear and flaws consistent with age and use.
