British, probably 18th century, with fine early 18th century silk on canvas needlework panels, over later brass candle arm, 29 x 14 x 9 in.. Notes: Needlework panels likely taken from a larger panel depicting the Biblical story of Rebecca and Eliezer.. Provenance: Private Collection, Wilson, North Carolina
both sconces have cracks in mirrored border, losses to gilt molding, fading, discoloration and losses to needlework panels
