Germany, 19th century, porcelain in rococo style with openwork scroll structure and applied figures and flowers, one with alchemist holding a bag of black coins and having a distillery, the other with bearded figure of Diogenes in purple robe carrying a lantern with open barrel on side, blue painted crossed-swords mark on bottom of each, 11-3/4 in.,
