Pillow Chinese, Song Dynasty, waisted rectangular form with slightly concave top bearing a central foliate quatrefoil-shaped reserve incised with a flowering peony spray, sides molded with formalized diaper design and splashed in green, unglazed base revealing pinkish buff ware, 3-1/2 x 10-5/8 x 5 in. good condition, glaze loss and chips from wear, evidence of polishing at sides.
